i like scotland because they are friendly and funny. They have good parks, castles, cathedrals, and scottish danceing. St Andrewis the patrent saint of scotland. The sottish flag is a blue background and a white cross.

In 1970 oil was discoverd in the north sea.In 1999 the scottish parlement forment. Robert Burns is a world famous poet and singer. We have wonderful sights, wild animals and the queen lives at Balormory castle when she holidays in scotlnd. The thistle is the national flower. we eat haggis and oat cakes. We make alot of cheese. We breed salmon and we have fresh fish around our stores. The capital of Scotland is Edenburgh and this is where our parliment sits. Many famous battles have taken place in Scotland.

This is why scotland is so good. there is a scotish game called golf and it is played all around the world. The tv was created by a scotish man and now one of the greatest machines ever. The telophone was also crated by a scotish man. Tere are great singers in scotland like the Fratelies, Kt Tunstal and best of all the proclaimers. Great comedians live in scotland like billy conerly. the most important thing about scotland is the veiws like the lochs and mountains(hills) but if you are lucky you might see nessie the loch ness monster people dont belive in nessie but some do. There are great dances and they are fun. the food is great like haggis, fish and deep fried stuff. Our patrent saint is St Andrew. there are lots of great things about scotland and i think scotland is the best country.

Scotland is a great country. You will be amazed by the view from Ben Nevis. It is good. Did you know that a Scottish person invented television? There is famous people in scotland like robert burns. we have good food like fish and haggis. we have good bands. like fratelies and kt tunstall. we have good and fun danceing like highland dancing. Scotland is great!!!

Scotland’s great because of many things like its lochs, Edinburgh Castle, Stirling and its monuments. There is also great wildlife. Scotland is also very well known for its history like its many Kings and Queens, The Jacobites and its battles. There is also great food like haggis, neeps and tatties. In Scotland there is also great dance, like the Military Two Step, the Gay Gordons and the Dashing White Sergeant. There is also highland dancing and loads of others. Scotland’s mighty flag represents the St Andrew’s Cross as he was crucified on an X cross.

Robert Burns was a famous Scottish poet and his poems are well known throughout Scotland and the world. I’m Scottish and I’m proud of it.

There are lots of reasons why Scotland’s the best. Here are some of the many reasons why:

The television and the phone were created by Scotsmen.

We have our own monster. Nessie is the Loch Ness Monster and lives in Loch Ness.

We also have our own food. Haggis is usually eaten with turnip and potatoes.

Robert Burns is a very popular poet who comes from Scotland.

We have lots of Scottish dances. The Gay Gordons, The Military Two Step and lots of other dances are all ours.

Every Scottish name has its own tartan.

In Scotland a man called John Logie Baird invented the television. A man called Alexander Graham Bell who is also Scottish invented the telephone. We have a lot of history and we have Loch Ness. Lots of Scottish people are funny. Teachers are great especially Miss Watt. In Scotland we have castles and great views. We have nice tartans and very famous people like Sean Connory, Billy Connolly and Robert Burns. The Jacobites were a famous Scottish clan. We have great museums where you could find out about Jacobites. We also have great art galleries.

Scotland is a big country and it is wonderful. One of Scotland’s dances is called the Gay Gordons. Robert Burns wrote some great poetry. St Andrew died on a cross and our flag is a mighty cross because of this. Scotland has some good tartans and one of Scotland’s famous armies are called the Jacobites. Scotland is great. There are famous people like Gordon Brown and Billy Connolly. Scotland is the  best country and is has got entertainment like singing, dancing and sport.

Scotland is great because you can see lots of castles, houses and they are very old.When it’s sunny you can stand on top of a big hill and see a beautiful view of people. They can be very freindly and say hello to you. There are lots of restaurants, shopping malls and pubs.  The food in Scotland is very tasty and the juice is very smooth. The weather changes all the time. The weather can be rainy or sunny. There are lots of schools and good education. You can get private girl/boy schools for only boys or girls. There are lots of jobs like in working in hotels or restaurants and lots lots more. The teachers in Scotland are fantastic. There are lots of authors in Scotland and lots of books they have written. There is a lot of music that people like. Some of the bands are the Proclaimers, KT Tunstall, Amy Mcdonald, Simple Minds, Travis, The Fratellis and Leon from the X Factor! There are a lot of famous people, like Robert Burns, Billy Connolly and Ewan McGregor. There are lots of famous dances. Some of the dances are the Dashing White Sergeant and the Military Two Step.

*St Andrew who is the patron saint of Scotland and most importantly……..THE PEOPLE OF SCOTLAND who work everyday to get money for their famillies and are kind to people that come to Scotland and people that are already at Scotland .

*There are loads of tartan fashion!
*There is the great dancing like highland, military two step, gay gordons and the dashing white sargaint.
*And last but not least there is RAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
