The Book Fair

The traveling book fair came this week and I am very excited.
The travelling book fair comes to our school once a year on world book week. There is all different kinds of books there like fact files and fiction. There are stencil books and craft books.
Today we are going to buy our books because we browsed yesterday. I want a cook book because I like cooking cakes, sweets and meals. I also wanted to get a craft book but I only have £6.00 with me.

The Travelling Book Fair

This week there will be a book fair at our school. At the book fair we get to look at books and buy them if we want to. There are lots of different sections in the book fair like books for under four, books for four to seven, and books for nine and over. I looked at some of the books yesterday and choose seven I might want, but went home and desided I only wanted four. Today we are going to buy the books and get to take them home.

The Book fair

The book fair is about that people look at books and read a couple of pages and see if they like the story book and then
buy the book. Then go to read the book at home.A book can be about anything like an adventure, scary book, fantasy.

Book Fair!

This week the book fair came to our school. The book fair is when you look at all the books and you can buy them.
When you get there, you see big stands with loads of books. But so you dont waste your time they are in the stands by age group. So if you dont just want to buy for yourself you can by one for someone younger than you. Because there are a lot of books it is hard to choose, but I chose my books. The books I chose are called The Ladybird Code, Mermaid Curse and Mr Gum and the Power Crystal. But also there is the same amount of books for boys and girls.
So if you ever get a book fair look closely because there is alot to choose from!

Book Fair Week!

This week a Traveling Book Fair came to our school. There have been posters around school showing some books you can buy. So yesterday we went to look at the books in the I.C.T. room, I saw lots and lots of books that I liked so I wrote them down on a special book fair sheet.
There were six cabinets of brand new, fresh books. Three whole cabinets were for Primary 1,2 and 3 and younger kids so they didn’t appeal to me! One cabinet had fact books like a cookbook called Cakes And Cookies, Yum! Another cabinet had fiction books for older kids and I liked the look of them. The other two cabinets had books for Primary 4 to 7 , some of them looked a bit too easy for me but others looked quite good.
Today we are buying our books. I am getting five and I can’t wait to read them!

The Book Fair

The book fair is here! It comes every year I really like it. First you look around and see all the books and see the ones you like then you go home and tell your mum or dad. They see which ones you should have after that you go in to school and buy the ones you thought you should have and finally you read! This year I  am getting quite scary books I cant wait to get them!

The Book Fair!

The book fair is a day when people come with books and the children in the school get to buy them. The book fair came to our school and we were allowed to see what books we want and then put them on a list. We had to put the author of the book and the price of it. Most of us are only getting 2 or 3 books because there is so many books to choose from and they are quite a lot of money. I like the book fair because it gives you a chance to read more books and a lot of books give you interesting facts and books are funny aswell!! I dont think they should ever stop the book fair because the books we get are really good. The school bring’s in some really cool books that I haven’t seen before and that makes me want to buy them even more.

Money Problems

Some places in England have not been accepting Scottish Banknotes. This is making Scottish visitors very unhappy. The law is that they should be treated exactly the same as any English Banknote but it is the shop or company owner’s decision. Some shops in London, such as flower shops, cafes and cleaners would accept Scottish Banknotes but it seems that big shops might not accept them still.

“Seagull pockets packet’s”

A cheeky seagull went into a shop in Aberdeen and picked a packet of crisps from the shelf. Now it has taken three packets a day. Chased by
a member of the staff it takes the packet outside and opens it with its
beak… it has been caught on video camera sharing the crisps with its
friends.
